Catalonia’s Department of Culture has incorporated two paintings into the National Collection through a tax-payment arrangement: a still life by Juan de Zurbarán and a self-portrait by Anton Raphael Mengs.
Emil Nolde’s 1931 painting ‘Herbstblumen (A)’ is currently on view at the Nolde Museum Seebüll in Germany as part of the institution’s 70th annual exhibition.
