Columbia

The Columbia Museum of Art has appointed Laura J. Mueller, Ph.D., as its new executive director, following a seven-month search that drew national and international candidates.

The Columbia Museum of Art will present an artist talk by South Carolina artist Winston Wingo on July 23, offering visitors a chance to hear directly from the painter, sculptor, and educator about work that has examined technology, identity, and society since the 1970s.

The Columbia Museum of Art has outlined a compact midsummer program that brings together a Renaissance fresco tour, an accessibility-focused collection visit and an artist lecture later in July.
