Jean Cocteau

Jean Cocteau was a French poet, playwright, novelist, designer, film director, visual artist, and critic. He was a prominent avant-garde artist of the 20th century and significantly influenced Surrealist and Dadaist movements. The National Observer regarded him as one of the most versatile and pioneering figures of his generation.
