Fujishima Takeji

The Autumn Collection Exhibition—translated from the Japanese title as 'In Memory of Days Gone By — Collection Artists, Works and Photographic Materials'—began on September 15, 2026, and runs through November 29.

The exhibition has opened at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, beginning with a film about the Windmill Poetry Society, a modernist poetry group formed in Taiwan in the 1930s, and reconsidering modernity in Taiwan and Japan through diverse cultural arts.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo will present ‘Constellation—Stars That Shared Time: Transborder Artistic Perspectives’, an exhibition examining modern Taiwanese art and its connections with Japan through painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, literature, film, music, theatre and dance.
