A 2025 Takashi Murakami screenprint, ‘Hiroshige’s 100 Famous Views of Edo – Japonisme Reconsidered—Yatsumi Bridge (Kaikai Kiki)’, has been listed by Singulart, the Paris-based online gallery. The platform gives the medium as serigraph on paper, the sheet as 42 × 29 cm and the year as 2025, and states that the work is signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
The print belongs to Murakami’s ‘Japonisme Reconsidered’ cycle, which reworks Utagawa Hiroshige’s mid-nineteenth-century series ‘One Hundred Famous Views of Edo’ — here the Yatsumi Bridge view. The parenthetical Kaikai Kiki refers to Murakami’s studio and production company, which publishes his editions; Singulart lists the work under editions and prints rather than unique works.
Singulart circulated the listing in an email of newly available works that also featured a second Murakami piece, ‘Untitiled (Mr DOB)’ — the misspelling is the platform’s — and Alex Katz’s ‘Reflection I’. No exhibition, unveiling or timed release is attached to the print, so the record carries no event dates.
