MOK Olsztyn has announced the next recital in the 48th Olsztyn Organ Concerts, with organist Jarosław Wróblewski due to perform on 16 August 2026 at 20:00. The concert is listed as part of the long-running ‘XLVIII Olsztyńskie Koncerty Organowe im. Feliksa Nowowiejskiego’, a summer series running under the RADIOLA umbrella. Admission is free.

The concert will take place in the Basilica of St James, at ul. Staszica 5 in Olsztyn, the same venue named for the entire series. According to the programme published by the organiser, MOK Olsztyn is staging the concerts together with the Parish of St James in Olsztyn, and the artistic director of the series is Jarosław Tarnawski.

The organisation’s announcement describes the Olsztyn Organ Concerts as a respected concert cycle that again will fill the basilica with music across ten performances between 5 July and 30 August 2026. The programme spans recitals for solo organ, as well as concerts featuring invited instrumentalists and singers. The organiser says the series will include music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Feliks Nowowiejski and other masters from different eras, alongside improvisation and contemporary works.

Wróblewski’s recital is set to include works by Alfred Hollins, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Zsolt Gárdonyi, Bach and Jehan Alain. The listed programme opens with Hollins’s ‘Concert Overture c-moll nr 2’, followed by Mozart’s ‘Adagio, Allegro’ and ‘Ein Stück für ein Orgelwerk in einer Uhr KV 594’, Gárdonyi’s ‘Mozart Changes’, Bach’s ‘Passacaglia BWV 582’, and Alain’s ‘Choral dorienne’ and ‘Litanies’.

The broader concert series is named after Feliks Nowowiejski, whose music appears repeatedly throughout the season’s programme. Earlier dates include recitals by Piotr Rojek, Daniel Prajzner, Hanna Dys and Szymon Zawodny, Krzysztof Ostrowski with Pro Musica Antiqua, Jarosław Tarnawski with Karol Lipiński-Brańka, Arvid Gast, Bartosz Wódczak, Tomasz Orlow, and Agnieszka Tarnawska with Lucyna Białas and Damian Kurek. Several of those concerts are also scheduled at 20:00, with the series maintaining a regular summer cadence in the basilica.

MOK Olsztyn’s event page gives the same basic details for the 16 August recital: Jarosław Wróblewski is listed as the performer, the venue is the Basilica of St James, and entry is free. The concert is one of the numbered dates in a series that continues through 30 August 2026.
