Museo Picasso Málaga will open every day from August 15 to August 23, 2026, during Feria de Málaga, offering visitors and local audiences a daily cultural option in the middle of the city’s festival period. The museum said it will keep its summer hours, from 10:00 to 20:00, with ticket sales ending at 19:30.

The announcement applies to the museum in Málaga, Spain, and reflects its regular summer schedule as listed on its visitor information page. The museum’s current exhibitions will remain on view throughout the period, including the collection presentation 'Picasso: structures of invention' and the temporary exhibition 'Joana Vasconcelos. Transfiguration.'

The museum’s website identifies 'Picasso: structures of invention' as a long-running collection display, presented from March 19, 2024 to January 30, 2028. It also lists 'Joana Vasconcelos' from May 29, 2026 to September 27, 2026. In the newsletter text announcing the Feria opening, the temporary exhibition is named 'Joana Vasconcelos. Transfiguration.' The museum’s image metadata likewise refers to 'Joana Vasconcelos. Transfiguración,' indicating the title in Spanish.

Museo Picasso Málaga also said that its access policies for the fair period will continue to include free and reduced-price admission for certain groups. On its visitor information page, the museum lists a standard single ticket at 13 euros and a reduced ticket at 11 euros for selected visitors, with free admission for groups including minors under 17, people with disabilities and one accompanying person, unemployed visitors registered with SEPE, students at the University of Málaga, teachers, ICOM members and journalists.

The museum’s general timetable states that it is open every day of the week. For July and August, it normally operates from 10:00 to 20:00, and admission is possible up to 30 minutes before closing. The museum says sales in the shop and bookshop end 15 minutes before closing, while the galleries begin to empty 10 minutes before the posted closing time.

Museo Picasso Málaga is located in the Palacio de Buenavista, Calle San Agustín, 8, in Málaga’s historic center. Its website presents the institution as devoted to Pablo Picasso and notes its permanent programmes and visitor services alongside the collection and temporary exhibitions on view.
