Durban Segnini Gallery has announced 'Ines Silva: Rhythms of Geometry', an upcoming exhibition of Plexiglas works by Ines Silva, scheduled for August 22 through October 30, 2026. The gallery will open the show with a reception on Saturday, August 22, from 6 to 10 pm. The exhibition text presents Silva’s practice as one in which geometry is translated into a tactile and spatial experience through reliefs, columns, folding screens, and suspended structures.
According to the gallery, Silva’s works are defined by “airy, luminous, and profoundly musical” qualities, with transparency, movement, and color shaping how each piece is encountered. The exhibition material emphasizes that the artist, who trained as an architect, builds her works with precision and draws on mathematical schemes including the golden ratio, the Fibonacci spiral, and Le Corbusier’s Modulor.
