Ethos Arts Inc. in Newport Beach is promoting ‘A Night of Alchemy’, an immersive evening scheduled for August 6 that combines an art-centered gathering with a Reiki activation and a live performance. The event is set to feature author and Reiki master Talyn Fiore, with space limited and RSVP required. According to the gallery’s announcement, the evening will include a performance of ‘Waking Up: An Ode to Alchemy’ by Fiore and Shey Baba.
The program appears in Ethos Arts’ event communications and on the gallery’s website as one of its current shows and upcoming activities. The gallery describes itself as representing emerging and established local and international artists, with work spanning pop, graffiti, modern and contemporary art, along with large-scale paintings, museum-level art glass and monumental sculpture. Its Newport Boulevard location in Newport Beach also serves as the backdrop for artist consultations and other appointments listed in the same materials.
The event announcement is brief, but it places alchemy at the center of the evening’s concept. Rather than presenting a conventional exhibition opening or lecture, the gallery is framing the program as an immersive experience that blends performance and wellness-oriented activation. The source materials do not provide additional curatorial details about the staging or format, but they do make clear that the performance component is part of the event itself.
Talyn Fiore is identified in the announcement as both an author and Reiki master. Shey Baba is named as Fiore’s collaborator on the live performance. No further biographical details are supplied in the source material, and the gallery’s notice does not elaborate on the content of the performance beyond its title, ‘Waking Up: An Ode to Alchemy’.
Ethos Arts’ current online inventory gives a sense of the broader visual environment surrounding the event. The gallery is listing works by artists including David Krovblit, Marton Varo, Georgeana Ireland, Gerrie Lewis, Orlando Agudelo-Botero and Amber Goldhammer among its current shows and collections. Titles such as ‘Separate Yourself - Mind. Body. Soul.’, ‘Abstract Angel’, ‘Essence II’, ‘Flower Power’ and ‘Love’s Equation’ suggest the gallery’s ongoing interest in work linked to emotional, spiritual and symbolic themes.
The event details in the mailing specify that ‘A Night of Alchemy’ will take place on August 6, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Ethos Arts Inc., 3405 Newport Boulevard, Newport Beach, California. The gallery notes that callers should ask ahead about VIP parking and lists its regular public hours as Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with additional hours and home viewing available by appointment.
