Four North Carolina theater companies will premiere original ten-minute plays inspired by the ‘People’s Collection’. The performances are scheduled for Friday, October 9, at 7 pm, and Sunday, October 11, at 7 pm.
The event blends visual art and theater, using works as catalysts for storytelling and live performance. The works named as catalysts are by Joanna Underwood Blackburn, Joan Mitchell, Yoan Capote, and Patrick Dougherty.
The galleries become a living theatrical canvas in an immersive evening where frames dissolve.
