NTT InterCommunication Center [ICC] in Tokyo is taking registrations for a workshop by dancer and choreographer Yasumoto Masako titled 'Mōdōtemitara, michi no karada?!' The event is scheduled for August 8, 2026, with two sessions, one beginning at 1:30 pm and the other at 3 pm. According to ICC, the workshop is connected to Hiroyuki Hori’s 'Michi no Karada' and invites participants to experience how their own bodily movements are converted into 3D objects.

The workshop is part of ICC Kids Program 2026, under the wider theme 'Mikan no yakusoku — tsukutte, torāeru media creations.' ICC describes it as a participatory program led by Yasumoto, who will serve as facilitator. After movement-based exercises, participants will engage with 'Michi no Karada' and observe the translation of motion into three-dimensional forms.

Each session is expected to last about one hour, and the content will be the same in both time slots. The program is open to children of elementary school age and older. ICC lists the capacity at eight participants per session, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served, advance-registration basis. Admission is free.

The venue is split between ICC Gallery D and ICC Gallery A, the latter being the exhibition space for 'Michi no Karada.' ICC says participants should come dressed in clothes suitable for movement, such as tracksuits or T-shirts. The institution also notes that visitors are welcome to observe the workshop.

Registration opens on July 31, 2026, at 11 am via ICC’s website contact form, where applicants must select the category 'other' and include the phrase 'I would like to participate in “Mōdōtemitara, michi no karada?!”' in the inquiry field, along with the preferred session and the participant’s name, age and school grade. ICC says only one person may apply per message.

The center adds that the data generated during the workshop, including motion data recorded from participants’ movements, may be used by the artists Hori Hiroyuki, Yasumoto Masako and Akabane Kyo, or third parties authorized by them, for the work itself, future works, and related promotional or commercial uses. Participants who do not agree to those terms are asked not to take part.
