Columbus Museum of Art has announced 'Night Shift: Au Naturel', a free evening program set for Friday, August 7, from 5:00 to 10:00 PM at Columbus Museum of Art at The Pizzuti in Columbus. The event is described by the museum as a chance to enjoy its sculpture garden “the way nature intended,” pairing natural wines curated by Cordial Cocktail Club & Bottle Shop’s Kyle Huffman with music by theCOMINGHOME. Registration is required.
The listing places the program within the museum’s ongoing after-hours activity at The Pizzuti, the CMA site at 632 Park Street. The museum’s event page says the night shift format is free with registration and includes access to the exhibition and Bar Room, while galleries close at 8:00 PM and Bar Room remains open until 10:00 PM. The event is also tagged as part of Night Shift at The Pizzuti and categorized as a food-and-drink and music-and-performance program.
The August email roundup that featured the event situates 'Night Shift: Au Naturel' alongside other summer programming at The Pizzuti, including 'LEVEL THE VIBES' on August 21 and a curator-led tour of 'Tavares Strachan: The Day Tomorrow Began' on August 28. In the same message, CMA also notes Summer Late Nights through Labor Day 2026, with $5 admission to Bar Room after galleries close on Friday and Saturday evenings from 8:00 to 10:00 PM.
'Night Shift: Au Naturel' is supported by the Franklin County Board of Commissioners. The museum’s materials do not provide additional details about the performers beyond the mention of theCOMINGHOME, nor do they expand on the wine selections beyond attribution to Huffman and Cordial Cocktail Club & Bottle Shop.
The event arrives while 'Tavares Strachan: The Day Tomorrow Began' remains on view at The Pizzuti through January 3, 2027. The exhibition is identified by the museum as the first U.S. museum survey of conceptual artist Tavares Strachan, and the museum describes it as an immersive, multisensory presentation of monumental works that brings “hidden” histories into view. CMA says the exhibition includes Bar Room (2022/2025), Strachan’s permanent installation at The Pizzuti.
According to the exhibition page, 'Tavares Strachan: The Day Tomorrow Began' is co-organized by Columbus Museum of Art and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and is included with general admission at CMA at The Pizzuti. CMA members receive free admission, while the museum lists regular admission at $10, with a $25 Season Pass offering unlimited admission to The Pizzuti and Bar Room through December 2026.
