The Medellín Museum of Modern Art, known as MAMM, says it is open all week and is directing visitors to its current programming as several temporary exhibitions enter their final days. In a post published on July 31, the museum invited audiences to make plans for the week and take advantage of the last guided tours before the temporary exhibitions close on Sunday, August 9.
The museum’s website gives a fuller picture of what is on view and what is coming up. Among the exhibitions listed are 'Nos habitan pájaros y montañas' and 'La luz, el fuego y la ceniza', both scheduled from March 26, 2026, to August 9, 2026. A sound exhibition, 'El susurro del barro', is listed from March 26, 2026, to August 17, 2026. The museum also lists 'Señal abierta. Lenguajes del arte actual' within its collection programming, shown as starting on August 21, 2025.
MAMM’s current calendar also includes a range of events beyond the gallery spaces. The website highlights a museum event called 'Visítanos durante nuestra Noche Extendida' on July 31, 2026, marked as free entry. Another listed event, 'Tororoí Resiste Acción participativa con Carolina Caycedo', is scheduled for August 4, 2026 and also carries free admission. The museum’s schedule further includes the three-day MAMM Fest 2026, with individual day listings on August 14, 15 and 16.
The festival is presented on the museum site with separate ticket prices for each day: $35,000 for 'MAMM Fest Día 1', $130,000 for 'MAMM Fest Día 2' and $80,000 for 'MAMM Fest Día 3'. A general listing for 'Preventa MAMM Fest 2026' runs from August 14 to August 16 with a price of $200,000. The museum’s social post, meanwhile, focuses on the immediate week of activities and the last tours before the temporary exhibitions close.
The museum’s homepage shows that MAMM is open today from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and organizes a broad public offer that includes exhibitions, cinema, events, courses and workshops. The site frames its exhibition program as a way for visitors to encounter different artistic perspectives, while the news page also points to the museum’s educational and public-facing activities.
MAMM is located in Ciudad Del Río, Medellín, and its online calendar indicates that the current run of temporary exhibitions continues through August 9, with 'El susurro del barro' extending through August 17 and the next festival programming beginning on August 14.
