Deodato Arte’s Summer 2026 selection includes a single work by Mr. Brainwash: ‘Mr. & Mrs. Classic II’, a hand-signed unique mixed-media piece on paper measuring 55.8 by 55.8 cm, listed at €9,100 plus VAT. It appears alongside pieces by Mr. Savethewall, Jacopo Di Cera, Romero Britto, Angelo Accardi, Marco Glaviano and TVBoy, together with a Medicom Bearbrick figure.
The gallery describes the work as a meeting of classic animation imagery and a direct, sentimental pop language, with a large red heart dominating the composition and reinforcing its theme of love. The background is built from writing, collage, bright colour and gestural marks, setting the clarity of the central figures against a densely layered surface.
Mr. Brainwash is the French-born artist Thierry Guetta, whose work draws on popular culture, art history, media and advertising, and whose slogans ‘Life Is Beautiful’ and ‘Never Give Up’ have become signatures. He appeared in the 2010 Banksy-directed documentary ‘Exit Through the Gift Shop’ alongside Shepard Fairey and Invader.
The gallery’s wider Mr. Brainwash inventory is organised across canvas, paper, retouché, neon, wall, sculpture, limited edition and spray can, and it states that more than 100 spray cans are listed exclusively on its site across the Marvel, City Collection and Classic series. Its own price guidance runs from around €2,000 for limited-edition prints to more than €150,000 for large unique originals, with most signed mixed-media works between €5,000 and €15,000; each work ships with a certificate of authenticity.
