Laguna Art Museum has been selected as a benefiting nonprofit for the 12th Annual Shopping Extravaganza at Outlets at San Clemente, a one-day fundraising event scheduled for October 10, 2026. According to the museum’s announcement, $25 from each $40 ticket sold in support of Laguna Art Museum will go directly to the institution.
The event is set to run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Outlets at San Clemente in San Clemente, California. Tickets are available through Eventbrite, and the museum’s email notice asks buyers to choose Laguna Art Museum as the nonprofit they wish to support during checkout so the museum receives credit for the purchase.
The fundraiser combines retail promotions with a charitable component. Ticket holders are offered one-day-only discounts and special offers from participating retailers, a catered lunch by Ruby’s Diner, live entertainment, complimentary wine tasting for guests 21 and over, and opportunities to win retailer gift cards and other prizes. Outlets at San Clemente’s event listing says the annual shopping fundraiser benefits local charities and describes it as an in-person event lasting seven hours.
Laguna Art Museum’s message frames the event as part of its broader fundraising effort for exhibitions, educational programs and community events. The museum says it is an independent, nonprofit, community-supported organization and notes that admission fees and memberships cover only part of the cost of operating the museum and carrying out its mission. The institution also identifies itself as the oldest cultural institution in Laguna Beach and says community support helps make art accessible and welcoming.
The museum’s current and upcoming exhibition schedule includes 'de la Torre Brothers: The Tipping Point' from August 1, 2026, to January 24, 2027, as well as 'Andy Moses: Into the Light' and 'Frank Cuprien: For the Love of the Sea', both on view during 2026. The museum’s website also lists 'Radiant Terrains: Elements of Light in Contemporary Art from the Permanent Collection' and 'Kim Manfredi: View with a Grain of Sand' among upcoming exhibitions.
