TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes will inaugurate the exhibition on Tuesday 20 at 19:00. Curated by José Manuel González Reyes and Carlos M. Rodríguez ‘Carlines’, the exhibition reviews and revalues the career of Eduardo Millares Sall, focusing on his development of a collective island imaginary led by his alter ego Cho Juaá and the popular channels through which his work circulated.

The exhibition presents Millares Sall as one of the most significant and influential Canarian artists of the 20th century, noted for his firm defence of avant-garde caricature and as a founding member of the Agrupación Vanguardista Canaria de Caricaturistas Personales.

‘Cho Juaá: humor colectivo’ is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 20:00, through 22 November.
