The intervention by Fernando Prats in the Romanesque art galleries consists of a group of works that establishes subtle parallels between apparently distant historical periods.
With the complicity of gravity or the wingbeats of birds, Prats traces registers of universal movement, using those forces as means through which movement is recorded.
The project weaves a network of landscapes that evokes the experience of the passage of time and the rhythms of nature, while making visible the hidden geometries of Romanesque art.
Curated by Gloria Moure, the project establishes a line and an itinerary that becomes interwoven through the Romanesque galleries, where alternative landscapes connect the different parts of the exhibition into a whole.
Along this itinerary, Prats explores the concept of representation with nature as an artistic subject, using works with a pictorial register to develop the notion of landscape.
