The Roger Raveel Museum in Machelen-aan-de-Leie will present a selection of works by Lili Dujourie (born 1941) from 15 November 2026 to 14 March 2027. The pieces are drawn from different periods of the Belgian artist’s career.

The museum frames the presentation not as a conventional retrospective but as a route through a body of work in which time and stillness keep returning. Sculpture, video, photography, collage and installation are brought together to show how the body relates to space, architecture and material.

According to the museum, the selection reveals one of the most coherent practices in contemporary Belgian art.

The museum illustrates the announcement with Dujourie’s Fontevraud (1986), photographed by Dirk Pauwels in the 2015 exhibition Folds in time at S.M.A.K. in Ghent.
