‘Change Ringing’ brings together painting, sculpture, printmaking, sound and film in a site-responsive multimedia installation.
The exhibition examines the relationship between devotion, architecture and materiality, including how buildings accumulate memory through ritual and transformation.
Justin Caguiat, born in Tokyo in 1989, is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the relationship between architecture, spirituality and rituals embedded within everyday urban infrastructure.
He is best known for large-scale paintings on unstretched canvas or linen, often spread across entire walls, and has also been involved in organising artist-run spaces and collectives.
