Gazelli Art House presents an exhibition by Dominic Myatt in its London Project Space, scheduled for 12 October to 7 November 2026.
The exhibition focuses on new and recent works on canvas. The paintings are rooted in Myatt’s spontaneity and experimentation with layering images and marks.
The resulting compositions are deliberately unsettled, with iconography and meaning jostling for position.
The images of objects could be read as drawings on clear celluloid sheets placed over painted backgrounds. Rather than presenting a consistent protagonist or set of characters, the canvases function as image frames, each with its own internal logic.
A private view of the solo show will take place in Gazelli Art House’s project space on Thursday, October 15, from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Myatt was born in 1993 in Leicester and works as a multidisciplinary artist inspired by visual fragments of everyday life, the energy of the city and overlooked details in his surroundings.
