Eszter Sziksz’s exhibition ‘Seeking, I Don’t Know What I’m Looking For (And I Hope I Never Find It)’ is scheduled for October 18, 2026, through April 4, 2027. An Artist Talk with Sziksz is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 1–2 p.m., at the Sarasota High School Alumni Auditorium at SAM.
The talk will mark the opening of ‘Seeking, I Don’t Know What I’m Looking For (And I Hope I Never Find It)’ and will address Sziksz’s ongoing practice, the impetus and research behind the project, and the philosophical questions it presents. The event describes Sziksz as a Ringling Faculty member and notes her use of ephemeral materials, experimental printmaking techniques, and audience participation.
Sziksz’s immersive artwork blends traditional printmaking with video and sensory installations to explore themes of memory and change.
Sziksz is a Hungarian visual artist, educator, and Fulbright U.S. Scholar whose global journey has taken her across Asia and Europe. Her work has been exhibited around the world, from Tokyo to Budapest, including at the International Print Center New York, the Krakow International Print Triennial in Poland, and the Santorini Art Biennial in Greece. It has also included a site-specific installation at Sweden’s IceHotel.
