‘François Morellet. 100 pour cent’ is on view at Galerie 3 through 27 September 2026. The exhibition is presented as a retrospective marking the centenary of François Morellet’s birth.
It brings together 100 works spanning 1941 to 2016. The museum describes it as the most complete retrospective of Morellet assembled to date.
Morellet was a French contemporary artist who worked across abstract painting, sculpture and light art. His early work anticipated minimal and conceptual art, while he contributed to the development of geometrical abstraction and post-conceptual art. Morellet was born in 1926 and died in 2016.
