MFA Boston Highlights Marsden Hartley’s ‘Carnival of Autumn’ for the First Day of Fall

The sculpture is on view in the MFA’s Impressionism galleries. At least 28 casts of Degas’s 'Little Dancer' are known worldwide, and the MFA has one of them.

The Museum of Fine Arts Boston published a remembrance of Bob Mackie. The remembrance identifies Mackie as having lived from 1939 to 2026.

‘Celebrating the Launch of the Marsden Hartley Legacy Project’ is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m.

The exhibition runs in conjunction with the major exhibition 'Roy Lichtenstein: Like New,' opening October 11 on the Museum’s 5th floor.
