‘Celebrating the Launch of the Marsden Hartley Legacy Project’ is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m.
The event’s keynote address will be delivered by Barbara Haskell, a curator at the Whitney Museum, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
The keynote will be followed from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. by a museum open house and reception.
The Marsden Hartley Legacy Project, whose home is at Bates College Museum of Art, is described as playing a vital role in furthering the enduring significance of Lewiston-born artist Marsden Hartley. The Olin Arts Center is located at 75 Russell Street, Lewiston, ME 04240.
