‘Saddle Up: A Celebration of Southwestern Art’ runs from June 5 through October 10, 2026, in the 3rd Floor White Gallery. The exhibition features Kim Mackey, Amy Laugesen, Nathan Solano, Leon Loughridge and Tim Deibler, whose work reflects Southwestern landscapes, culture and colors. The five artists have a lifelong passion for the Southwestern landscape, culture and colors.
A public reception on September 4 during the First Friday Art Walk is listed for ‘Saddle Up.’ Leon Loughridge owns Dry Creek Art Press, where he makes reduction woodblocks, etchings and limited-edition books.
The subtle layering of color in the woodblock process allows him to capture the atmospheric qualities of the Southwestern landscape.
Tim Deibler is known for oil paintings of rugged mountain peaks, desert canyons and surf. His subjects include the rugged mountain peaks, desert canyons and pounding surf described in the exhibition material.
Kim Mackey grew up in Pueblo, Colorado. Following art school, she worked for several years as an illustrator, completing assignments for True West magazine, Western Horseman and Capitol Records.
