‘Shugo Haseda: A Window to Open the World’ Scheduled to Open September 20

The next exhibitions will begin on September 19, with four collection exhibitions listed: 'Art and Crafts of the Kaga Domain,' 'Rinpa II — The Expanding Reach of Sōsetsu and Flower-and-Grass Paintings,' 'Selected Masterpieces,' and 'New Additions to the Museum

The Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art has highlighted the career of Shugo Hasuda, a Kanazawa-born artist whose postwar achievements included repeated awards at Nitten, Japan’s long-running national art exhibition.

The Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art in Kanazawa will present a special exhibition devoted to Hasuda Shugo, the Kanazawa-born artist who worked across metal craft, sculpture and architecture.
