The Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art will open its special exhibition ‘Shugozo Hasuda: A Window Opening Up the World’ on 20 September, with a presentation devoted in part to the outdoor works created by Shugozo Hasuda.
Before the opening, the museum will launch a serial feature in which the curator in charge recounts visits to Hasuda’s works. Presented as a journey across Japan, the series brings the exhibition’s outdoor-work focus beyond the museum through accounts of works encountered in different parts of the country.
The curator-led series will begin before ‘Shugozo Hasuda: A Window Opening Up the World’ opens on 20 September.
