‘La Grande Saggezza’ is a retrospective comprising more than 80 photographs. Curated by Lauren Johnston, it is on view at the Grande Miglio in the Castello di Brescia from 14 July 2026 to 10 January 2027.
Mittermeier is described as a Mexican photographer, marine biologist and activist.
The photographs celebrate the beauty of the planet through its landscapes and changing wildlife, as well as through the different cultures and traditions of communities living in symbiosis with nature.
Admission to the exhibition is free. The family workshop ‘Segni e mimetismi’, on 27 September at 3.30 p.m., is intended for children aged six to 11 and their families.
