The MAMAC is continuing its programming outside the museum while the institution is closed for works, with events scheduled at the Promenade du Paillon in Nice from 19 to 20 September 2026.
The headline event on 19 September is the high-culture fashion procession ‘MAMAC RE-LOADED’, presented as a performance walk on the Esplanade Niki de Saint Phalle. The procession features a collection made by students in the fashion section of Lycée Les Côteaux de Cannes, with each student drawing inspiration from an artist in the MAMAC’s collection and adding a personal reinterpretation.
On 20 September, the programme includes a flash mediation near Arman’s ‘Music Power’ at 2:30 p.m., followed at 3 p.m. by the MAMAC’s mobile performance ‘Fragments d’Arman II’.
The Sunday programme also includes mediations and performances around Arman and Niki de Saint Phalle, including ‘Niki de Saint Phalle. Action-Spectacle’. Created jointly by artists and the MAMAC’s public-engagement service, the M.I.I.M. performances combine live performance with major artists and themes from the museum’s collection.
