Galerie Tschudi announces the last days of ‘House,’ a group exhibition in Zuoz.
The exhibition features works by Kasper Bosmans, Balthasar Burkhard, Andrea Büttner, Hamish Fulton, Bethan Huws, Wolfgang Laib, Hana Miletić, Augustas Serapinas, Not Vital and Petra Wunderlich.
‘House’ considers the house both as a place of dwelling and as a structure that shapes how people inhabit, imagine and relate to space. It presents a house as shelter while emphasizing the boundaries between inside and outside, private and public, and belonging and exclusion.
Throughout the exhibition, architectural forms, domestic objects and traces of memory are brought into new relationships with one another.
Andrea Büttner’s ‘Curtain’ turns an everyday object into a meditation on vulnerability and looking, treating the threshold as a site where boundaries are continually negotiated.
