Visitors are invited to the opening on 10 September from 16:00 to 18:00.
The exhibition features Jenni Vakkilainen’s new paintings, inspired by nature and colour, whose layered works and expressive brushwork create playful, spatial worlds.
Across the canvases, the paint ranges from thin glazes to thick masses; forms dissolve and re-emerge with colour, causing the surface to change with each viewing.
One work, ‘Awakening’, is a 2026 oil painting on canvas measuring 170 by 200 centimetres.
