BIMA’s new Fall and Winter 26/27 exhibitions are being kicked off with an evening of art, connection, and community.
Guest curator Colette Gaiter says the artists in the exhibition are ‘booking,’ referring both to making books and to moving quickly to express their voices and tell their stories as Black artists.
Patricia Orellana’s process integrates contemporary digital processes into her artistic practice while remaining deeply rooted in painting; in ‘Within Reach,’ she shares her journey through a portfolio of paintings and prints. ‘Within Reach’ is scheduled for October 2, 2026, through January 31, 2027.
