‘New! Ukiyo-e Exhibition: Genius Artists of the Late Edo and Meiji Periods’ closes on Sunday, September 13, marking its final weekend.

The exhibition presents ukiyo-e by artists representative of their eras as a form of “media.” Its title identifies the late Edo and Meiji periods, while the display brings this stated focus together with immersive images.

The pairing gives the closing-weekend presentation two named elements: ukiyo-e approached as media, and immersive imagery. The exhibition remains on view in Permanent Exhibition Rooms 1 and 2 on the second floor of the main building.

Visitors can enter from 9:40 a.m. to 6 p.m.; final admission is at 5:30 p.m.
