The Centro Andaluz de la Fotografía in Almería has announced that Rafael Trapiello’s ‘Un feliz desorden del tiempo’, Antonio Jesús García’s ‘Ejercicios urbanos’ and Manolo Espaliú’s ‘Viaje a Persia’ will remain open through 27 September 2026.
The shared closing date gives the three projects their final weeks on view at the institution. The update follows the closure of Isabel Muñoz’s ‘La Bestia’, which ended the previous Sunday.
García will lead two further commented visits to ‘Ejercicios urbanos’ on 17 and 24 September, both at 19:00. The sessions address the project’s street-photography approach and its process of creation, offering a direct encounter with the artist before the exhibition closes.
The September programme also signals the next exhibition opening: Juan Manuel Díaz Burgos’s ‘Tierra tomada’ opens on 19 September and continues through 5 January 2027. Presented in the CAF’s Sala AFAL, the project traces a neighbourhood that emerged on abandoned land near Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic through its inhabitants, spaces and life stories.
