IMMA Horizons has launched a Slow Art video series guided by its Visitor Engagement Team, offering deeper engagement with works in ‘IMMA Collection: Art as Agency’.
The current instalment examines Joan Jonas’s ‘Woman in the Well’. An installation view identifies the work as dating from 1996–2023 and as featured in ‘IMMA Collection: Art as Agency’ in Dublin in 2025.
Further artists included in the series are Gerard Dillon, Vik Muniz and Robert Ballagh. The videos include Irish Sign Language and extend access for people unable to visit in person.
‘IMMA Collection: Art as Agency’ is a three-year display of the IMMA Permanent Collection, presenting work by more than 100 artists from the 1960s to the present. It remains on view until 6 February 2028.
