Poul Gernes’s ‘Drømmeskibet’ will leave Sorø Kunstmuseum at the end of September for a major special exhibition on Aase and Poul Gernes at Weserburg Museum für moderne Kunst in Bremen, Germany.
The work is currently part of Sorø Kunstmuseum’s permanent collection display. The museum holds more than 2,600 works, and its presentation of the permanent collection changes continually.
The exhibition on Aase and Poul Gernes is scheduled to travel to Sorø Kunstmuseum in autumn 2027.
Sorø Kunstmuseum will introduce new works into its permanent collection during October, including works that have not previously been shown there and works returning to display.
