Rania Matar’s exhibition ‘Where Do I Go? لوين روح’ remains on view through 3 October 2026 at RKG x SEA-DAR: The Project Space, 580 Harrison Avenue, 4th Floor, Boston.
The exhibition brings together Matar’s collaborations with women across Lebanon, addressing identity, memory, resilience and belonging. Its title derives from graffiti Matar found on a damaged wall in an abandoned building in Lebanon.
Works in the presentation include the 2021 archival pigment print ‘Perla, Where Do I Go (Lawen Ruh لوين روح), Kfarmatta, Lebanon’; the 2022 print ‘Rhea (Balloons), The Egg, Beirut, Lebanon’; and the 2024 works ‘Lara M (Bullet Holes), Abandoned Zahle Cinema, Zahle, Lebanon’ and ‘Mirna, Rayak Train Station, Rayak, Bekaa Valley, Lebanon.’
A panel conversation with Kristen Gresh and Matar is scheduled for 16 September at 6pm. A SoWA First Friday and closing reception will take place on 2 October from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Viewing hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, with weekend visits available by appointment.
