‘IRWIN: Fotografska dela’ remains on view at Mestni muzej Ljubljana through 6 September 2026.

The exhibition brings together more than 50 photographs made across four decades of the art collective’s activity, in collaboration with internationally recognised photographers. It is presented as the group’s first extensive exhibition of photographic works.

A closing guided tour will take place on Saturday, 5 September, from 16:30 to 17:30 at Mestni muzej Ljubljana. Members of IRWIN will lead the tour with exhibition curator Hana Čeferin.

The session will address the ideas behind the works, the backgrounds to the photographic projects and the group’s retroprincip: a method of reusing and reshaping historical, artistic and political symbols. The artists will also discuss photography as a space of reinterpretation in which the meanings of images are continually re-established.

Registration is required for the guided tour.
