Bottleneck Gallery is releasing six limited-edition prints of Pat Gleason’s cover for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ #1000 on 1 September 2026 at noon Eastern Time, sold through the gallery’s homepage.
Gleason’s design shows Peter Parker in a classic Spider-Man pose surrounded by webbing and spiders, worked in what the gallery calls a “radioactive” colour palette and presented both as a standalone print and as an ode to the title’s 1000th-issue milestone.
Two fine-art giclée editions measure 24 by 36 inches and are hand-numbered, in runs of 100 and 50 respectively. A Foil Variant, also 24 by 36 inches, is a giclée on Rainbow Holo Foil paper in a hand-numbered edition of 75.
Three further formats carry digital numbered certificates of authenticity issued through Verisart. A 3D lenticular on 1mm PET measures 16 by 24 inches in an edition of 50. A multi-layer acrylic, archival pigment across three acrylic panels, measures 16 by 24 inches in an edition of 35, and a comic-size version of the same three-layer construction measures 7 by 10.5 inches in an edition of 75.
Bottleneck Gallery is a contemporary art space at 17 Ingraham Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn, founded in 2012. The Gleason release is an online drop rather than an exhibition. The same newsletter separately promoted comics including ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ #1001, ‘Venom’ #1 and ‘Amazing Spider-Man: Amazing Visions’ #1, which are part of the gallery’s digital comics offering and unconnected to the print release.
