TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes in Santa Cruz de Tenerife has announced screenings of 'Rebuilding' from Friday, July 24, through Sunday, July 26. The museum described the film as a story of resilience set in the new American West, and said it confronts the cowboy myth against the backdrop of the current environmental crisis.
The screenings are listed in TEA Tenerife’s cinema programme, part of the institution’s wider schedule of exhibitions, activities, collections, publications, photography, education and visits. The museum’s announcement presents 'Rebuilding' as a film presentation rather than an exhibition, placing it within TEA’s ongoing role as a cultural venue that combines cinema with visual-art and public programming.
'Rебuilding' is directed by Max Walker-Silverman. TEA Tenerife identified the film as an award-winning work, though it did not provide further details in the announcement about prizes, cast or runtime. The museum’s description foregrounds the film’s thematic focus on resilience and the changing identity of the American West.
According to TEA Tenerife, the film’s central tension lies in its confrontation between the traditional image of the cowboy and the realities of environmental crisis. That framing suggests a contemporary western subject matter shaped less by frontier romance than by ecological pressure and social change.
The screenings are scheduled for July 24-26, 2026, at TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The announcement does not specify additional side events or parallel programmes connected to the film presentation.
TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, based in the Canary Islands capital, regularly uses its cinema platform to present film titles alongside its exhibition and education activities. For 'Rebuilding', the institution’s notice provides the basic screening window and its thematic description, with the dates running through Sunday, July 26.
