Skissernas Museum in Lund, Sweden, will present ‘På Besök: Masterstudenter från Konsthögskolan i Malmö’, an exhibition bringing together work by master’s students from Malmö Art Academy. The exhibition opens on 27 August and runs through 27 September 2026, placing the students’ work within the museum’s collection displays as well as in other, less expected areas of the building.
The presentation will feature eleven artists: Anania Røde, Andrea Sitara Gran, Benita Massignani, Fredrika Lindeberg, Julia Karla, Line Rolf, Matilda Kenttä, Maya Krtić, Rasmus Strøyer, Sebastian Poras Adolfsson and Siri Hammarén. According to the museum, the exhibition brings together a range of expressions, themes, techniques and materials, offering an insight into current discussions and investigations in contemporary art.
The works are described as occupying several borders: between body and material, language and silence, and the visible and the concealed. The exhibition also addresses experiences connected to fragility, loss and what has not yet been formulated, alongside subjects that may provoke resistance or unease.
