The Festival Nits al Castell continues this Saturday, July 18, with its third concert of the 2026 edition, bringing the Catalan band Sidonie to Xàtiva Castle at 11 pm. According to the festival announcement from the Ajuntament de Xàtiva, the group will present a set that combines songs from across its career with new material from its latest artistic phase.
The concert comes as Sidonie prepares to release 'Catalan Graffiti' in October. The band’s Xàtiva appearance is being framed as part of that new phase, while still drawing on the hits that have made it one of the best-known names on the Spanish indie scene. The municipality’s notice describes Sidonie as a band with more than two decades on stage, known for energetic live performances and a close relationship with audiences.
The event is part of Nits al Castell, the summer concert series staged at the castle in Xàtiva. The source material identifies this performance as the third concert of the 2026 festival, placing Sidonie within a programme that has continued to build around live music at the historic site. The announcement does not add further details about the wider festival lineup, but it does spell out the practical arrangements for this date.
Access to the venue will be supported by a free shuttle service included with the ticket. Buses will leave from Plaça de l’Espanyoleto between 8 pm and 10 pm, while the return service will run from the end of the concert until approximately 2.30 am. The city also says private vehicles are not permitted inside the castle grounds, and that attendees may use the free parking area at the Centre d’Especialitats.
The notice adds that audience members with reduced mobility should inform the organisers in advance so that access can be coordinated. The seating area will open between 10 pm and 11 pm, ahead of the 11 pm performance time.
Pre-concert amenities will also be available from 8 pm. The public can use a picnic zone set up in the castle’s arms square, with tables and chairs provided for an early evening meal before the show. The castle restaurant will also remain open and offer table reservations, extending the evening beyond the concert itself.
Sidonie’s Xàtiva date is scheduled for July 18, 2026, at Castell de Xàtiva.
