Milly Childers

1866–1922

English painter (1866-1922) born into a prominent political family, best known for her 1909 painting The Terrace depicting the Palace of Westminster, now part of the Parliamentary Art Collection. She created landscapes, church interiors, and portraits, and was among the last artists to paint the interior of Reims Cathedral before its wartime damage in 1914.
