Li Yuanjia

Taiwan, 1929–1994

Chinese artist, poet, and curator (1929-1994) born in Guangxi and educated in Taiwan, where he was part of the Ton Fan group credited with establishing modern abstract art in Chinese circles. He worked across installation, painting, and photography, and later founded the LYC Museum in rural England, which became a hub for contemporary artistic exchange.
