Josef Hoffmann was an Austrian-Moravian architect and designer. He was a founder of the Vienna Secession and a co-founder of the Wiener Werkstätte. His notable architectural work includes the Stoclet Palace in Brussels, built between 1905 and 1911, which is considered a pioneering work of Modern Architecture and Art Deco.
