Hayami Gyoshu

The exhibition is the third special exhibition commemorating the museum’s 60th anniversary and is scheduled to open on 10 October.

The Yamatane Museum of Art has announced ‘The Best of the Yamatane Collection I: From Yokoyama Taikan and Takeuchi Seihō to Uemura Shōen and Hayami Gyoshū,’ the third special exhibition in its programme marking the institution’s 60th anniversary.

The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo will mount a major retrospective of the Japanese painter Gyoshu Hayami from 19 March to 9 May 2027, presenting around 100 works drawn from museums and private collections across Japan.
