Grandma Moses, born Anna Mary Robertson Moses, was an American folk artist known for beginning her painting career at the age of 78. She gained prominence in the 1950s, notably appearing on the cover of Time Magazine in 1953 and being featured in a biographical documentary. Her autobiography, titled "My Life's History," was published in 1952, and she received two honorary doctoral degrees.
