Enric Casanovas i Roy

Catalan sculptor (1882-1948) and a principal representative of Catalan Noucentisme, known for works inspired by archaic Greek sculpture. He studied under Josep Llimona and moved between Paris and Barcelona in the early 1900s, associating with modernist peers, and received the gold medal at the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition.
