The Palace of Versailles has announced the 2026 return of the 'Les Grandes Eaux Musicales', the long-running gardens program that pairs fountain displays with Baroque music in the Versailles grounds. Scheduled from 3 April to 1 November 2026, the event opens the château’s gardens to visitors daily from 9 am to 7 pm, with timed access and practical conditions outlined by Château de Versailles Spectacles.
According to the event page, the experience centers on the historic gardens rather than the palace interiors, with bosquets exceptionally open to the public for a promenade through water features and musical programming. The institution describes the route as a walk among the fountains and basins brought to life by the château’s fountain workers, known as fontainiers d’art, who manage the hydraulics that drive the displays.
