National Museum of Fine Arts Remembers Mimmo Rotella with ‘El juego’

Rafael Barradas painted ‘Dama en el café’ in 1918. The work has a marked Cubist character. ‘Dama en el café’ is one of more than 25 works donated to the Bellas Artes by filmmaker María Luisa Bemberg.

The painting reflects the calm water, lightly shaded details and muted colors associated with Marquet’s views.
